Installation Info - Photos, Dimensions, Amperage draw and more.

The Insty Connect uses 12v (12-36v is acceptable), with a max of 2 amp energy draw.  In most cases, the Insty Connect uses just under 1 amp (12w) when you have a decent signal.  It may require more power as the signal decreases.

Operating Environment:

Temperature Range: Router: -40c (-40f) to 70c (158f), Modem Module: -40c (-40f) to 85c (185f)

Router Voltage Wiring:

Installation note:  if you are direct wiring the Insty Connect to 12v, please be sure to check that your wiring is fused in the circuit, and that you test the power source for 12v.  Any voltage under 12V may cause the wifi network to randomly turn off (red light is the only one on), or not power up.
